[ For a woman who doesn't like going to the Horizon a lot she sure has been going to the Horizon a lot. At least she can claim arriving here wasn't her intent, even if she's distantly familiar with the library she steps into. Distantly, because she hadn't been there since that first time. Since he took her to the Horizon and the music played. ]
[ She eyes the books in consideration, but it's the music she finds herself drawn to again. Funny, that. As she thumbs a finger over the thin backs of the slipcase. She doesn't pull one out even as she becomes aware someone else might be there: ]
How outdated are these anyway?
[ The obvious question because Quill doesn't lug them around. They seem like a hassle. ]

[Ah, a visitor. As always, it's easy to sense when someone's wandered in, much less someone he's familiar with.
Stephen appears with a (maybe dramatic) swoosh of his cloak, stepping out from behind a bookshelf and wandering closer to Nebula. He eyes the records she's found herself drawn to.]
Outdated? That all depends on your definition.
[What's outdated to him might not be to someone else.]
Besides, a lot of the "outdated" stuff is what's interesting. But if you're only wanting to listen to the newer releases, I have a few things from the past year or so... Before I was brought to Abraxas, anyway.
[As though to emphasize the point, he waves a hand. One record floats out from its spot, hovering to Stephen's open hand. He grasps it and takes it out of the sleeve to appreciate the vinyl.]
Now, you're going to make me sound like a snob, Nebula. But there really is nothing quite like listening to an actual piece of vinyl. To answer your question, though, these are several generations behind. It goes streaming, mp3s, CDs, casettes, and... these.

I'm not talking about the music itself. God knows Quill doesn't listen to anything recent.
[ which is fine, she likes music. She's not going to say that. ]
Still don't see the appeal in listening from something so archaic.

So you mean the record itself.
